El parasitismo interno en terneros en relación con dos tipos de pastos (pangola y coast cross-4)

Abstract

At the end of the day seas son and the begining of the raens en 1974, the parasite goowth was studied in relation to two
different varieties of grasses, coast-cross -1 and pangola. In each group, half the animals received a suplement of concentrates. The results show that the most significant group of parasites was the gastro­intestinal, the calves fer with coast cross -1 being the ones to reach thé gastro-intestinal and coccidias parasites were studied. These data higher levels of parasitism. The most frequent prevalence for the gastro-intestinal and coccidias parasites were studied. These data were analized relation to the hematological study and the climatological situation.
