Parámetros cinéticos del crecimiento de bacterias celulolíticas en bagazo de caña

Abstract

The behavoir of eleven strains of cellulolitic bacteria was studied during their growing on sugar cane bagasse. The mathematical
model used allowed a propper fitting of the puntual information for the calculation of the kinetical parameters, i.e. rate and yield. This
mathematical rnodel also allows propper fitting of experimental growing diauxic data in analitical way for all growing stages. It was demostrated that the found equation are useful for differentiation, interpolation and other mathematical procedures with data being also useful to discriminate, on the kinetical parameters, the best alternatives offered by the studied cultures. Doubling times ranging from 5.6 to 53.3 hours were reaches with a protein content between 35.2 and 57% showing that the studied strains use relatively rapidly, bagasse cellulose.
