Abstract

A molecular analysis of natural ecdysteroids compounds is made at semi-empiric level, The ecdysteroids are one of the most important hormonal groups in the animal kingdom. At present more than 120 compounds relates to this family of metabolites. been involved in the processes of metamorphosis, development, reproduction and metabolic activation of living events of invertebrates
(spec. Arthropoda) have been described and they can also be antagonistic of the brassinosteroides in plants where they provide a potential defense against phytophagous insect plagues. The aim of the undertaken report is a preliminary mechano-quantum study of some electronic properties (and structural fragments) and their significance to bioactivity of 21different natural ecdysteroids (starting from ecdysone and its modifications) and their interactions with the receptor (Distance O3-O22; O22HOMO 3; ang. 2,3,4; ang. 8,9,10; distance C2-C3; O3 mayor contribution to HOMO-3; Charge C16). In the course of reported investigation is detailed an equation which describes, satisfactory, the behavior of relationship between structure and bioactivity for a series of described compounds starting from base structure of ecdysone. Y = 15071.3 + 66.506 (O22 HOMO 3) 10.166 (O3 HOMO-3) + 34.278 (distance O3-O22) +172.6983 (distance C2-C3) 24. 306 (ang. C 2,3,4) +127. 276 (ang. C8,9,10) 611.975 (qC16).
