Abstract

Time of wetness values has becn calculated according to the method proposed by Barton with sl'ight modifications for two corrosion stations and also for 57 cuban meteorological stations. Yearly time of wetness valucs were found to be about 5000 hours for almost
all stations. Corrosion-Time of wettness curves were built for the two corrosion stations including results of two exposition cycles of one year. By using yearly average pollution levels it was possible to integrate the results of the two stations with different atmospheres in only one curve, that could be useful far calculating an aproximatc value of corrosion in differents places of Cuba. It was concluded that the main changes in magnitud of atmospheric corrosion in Cuba must be caused by the influencc of chloricle ions.
