Abstract

Water adsorption in samples of a sulfocationite named Wofatit KPS in H+,L i+ and Na+ forms in the same conditions and after modified by inmobilization of CuS clusters within the pores of the sulfocationite was studied. The adsorption isotherms and differential adsorption heats of water were determined in the samples. It was found that the water adsorption and the associated heats, were smaller when the samples doped with CuS clusters. This fact may be related to steric effects and variations of hydrophilicity produced in the sulfocationite by inmobilization of CuS clusters.
