Abstract

Adsorption heats of water were determined in modifíed natural mordenite and modified natural clinoptilolite. The zeolites were modified by cation exchange with MgC12, CaC12, SrC12, Bac12 and LiCl, NaCl, KCI respectively. Thermograms showed interaction between water molecules and the cations, the heterogeneity of adsorption sites was shown too. This was shown by the values of differential heats and the thermograms wich were shown to be different for each zeolite and for each cation position in the solid structure.
