Abstract

Details related to calcination and simering steps in the ceramic obtainment process are studied. The calcination is con­trolled by means of TI1ermal Differential Analysis (TOA) and X­Ray Diffraction. The TDA and XRD techniques evidences the influence of raw materials 011 the compound fonnacion. Sintering is studied with the help of XRD and the Opcical Microscopy. Also. the lead atmosphere control methods are discussed during sintering of modified PZT ceramics. Experimental result.s are compared with that of the Rietvel Metbods and they show good agreements.
