Abstract

It was made an hourly sampling of a set of aerometric variates in a place of Centro Habana during two intervals of 10 days
in the wet and dry seasons of the year 1980. Pollutant levels fluctuations were connected to urban heat island picture at glance. Peripheral wind of the city from East and South were related to higher values of sulphuric acidity. Otherwise, wind direction from North
and South showed connection to higher smoke concentration amounts. Power spectra suggested persistence and cycles weighted according variate and time interval. Significant coherences were located in the correlation structure under different phase relations. Sorne of them appeared twice in the time lapses, another changed. It was believed that everything observed resembled tracks of a unstable time dependent dynamic in the aerometric system in urban area.
