Abstract

OLEOZONÒ is a drug developed at the Ozone Research Center of the National Research Center Scientific, from the ozonation of sunflower oil under suitable conditions. It has been registered nationally for the treatment of epidermophytosis (1999) and is in the registration application phase for the treatment of giardiasis. East medicine is a broad-spectrum germicidal agent, very effective against infectious processes produced both by viruses such as bacteria, parasites and fungi. These germicidal properties have motivated the investigation of its action in the treatment of various local septic processes, dermatological, gynecological, stomatological, ophthalmological and in Giardia lamblia parasitosis.
