Abstract

During latest years, the work in Pharmacovigilance Good Practices has allowed ensuring the authenticity and quality of the safety assessment data, for a continuous evaluation of risks associated with pharmaceutical products available in the market. This activity was recently regulated in Cuba for the pharmaceutical industry that produces drugs for human use. In the implementation of the Pharmacovigilance Good Practices, training plays an essential role. In current educational context, consulting is a non-academic way for professional improvement, being this way another option to training. This work presents a training proposal, based in consulting as an option to train the labor resources in Laboratorios Liorad. We describe the application of a methodological triangulation, and a review of the instructor´s training to know if there were consultants who could take the proposal of training based on the consulting. The analysis identified three instructors who can play as a teaching assistant-consultant. Three teams of consultants were created. This work allowed considering the feasibility of the proposed training, thinking that it can generate significant results in a minimal time.
